Cell Aging

This week, AMAZING information how lifestyle changes can effect cell aging. Please watch the short 5 minute video.

Lifestyle Changes May Lengthen Telomeres, A Measure of Cell Aging

Along with eating a diet of REAL food, supplementation is necessary because of the degradation of our food system. We now know we can no longer get the high amounts of nutrients for optimal health from food alone. That is why 80% of people today take nutritional supplements.

Another critical factor in lifestyle change that USANA’s founder, Dr. Myron Wentz emphasizes is “Avoidance.” We are surrounded by a chemical soup of toxicity, and although you can’t escape it completely, there are some things we can do in our home to reduce exposure. He has written a New York Times Best Seller book on it called “The Healthy Home.”

So we have a Health Triad:
– Diet (including supplementation)
– Exercise (including stress management practices like meditation or yoga)
– Avoidance.

This is a lifestyle change that will give you nice long healthy telomeres.

Do it for them. Do it for you. Do it for your loved ones.

Be Well
